   Blood Road
MORC is proud to present the Minneapolis screening of Blood Road, starring our friend and supporter, Rebecca Rusch. The film follows the journey of ultra-endurance mountain bike athlete Rebecca Rusch and her Vietnamese riding partner, Huyen Nguyen, as they pedal 1,200 miles along the infamous Ho Chi Minh Trail through the dense jungles of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. Their goal: to reach the crash site and final resting place of Rebecca’s father, a U.S. Air Force pilot shot down over Laos some 40 years earlier. During this poignant voyage of self-discovery, the women push their bodies to the limit while learning more about the historic ‘Blood Road’ they’re pedaling and how the Vietnam War shaped their lives in different ways.

Join us at the Lagoon Theater, Thursday, October 19th.

Whereas MORC focuses solely on Twin Cities area singletrack, BikeMN does great and valuable education and advocacy work in all areas of cycling throughout the entire state of Minnesota. Our partnership and collaboration will help to bring a unified voice for all cyclists at the state level.
BikeMN is a powerful ally in advocating for all forms of cycling, and recognizes how important off-road cycling is for our communities. For example- as part of their 2017 Legislative Agenda, BikeMN supports and advocates for a $3.6 million appropriation to the DNR to support land acquisition and development, including mountain bike trail development, at the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area.

Having a statewide entity as an ally to advocate on behalf of all cyclists is an important and valuable component to ensuring the future of Minnesota as a top Bicycle Friendly State. MORC believes in the power and professionalism of BikeMN to continue doing just that! Please consider joining us in support of making Minnesota the best place to ride.
