Minnesota Off-Road Cyclists (MORC) is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to safeguarding the future of mountain biking in Minnesota through the promotion of responsible riding, establishment and maintenance of mountain biking trails, and preservation of Minnesota's natural resources.
Our Motto: 'Gaining and Maintaining Trails'
Thanks to the hard work of passionate, dedicated volunteers, MORC has been making great trails and riding a reality in the Twin Cities for over 20 years!
While the trails are complimentary for the enjoyment of all users, they are far from being "free". Thanks to MORC’s partnerships with area land managers, and adding the value of volunteer labor to the total figure, over $479,000 was invested in Twin Cities trails during 2016!
-1994 the North Central Mountain Bike Group became an established non-profit with the purpose of being a statewide organization to further mountain biking throughout Minnesota.
-1998 the Board of Directors changed the organization name to Minnesota Off-Road Cyclists
-2010 MORC became one of the first organizations to join the Chapter Program of the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA)
-2017 MORC reestablished itself as an independent nonprofit organization.
Today MORC focuses on Twin Cities trail development and maintenance, dividing our time and resources among
12 trail systems & the Cottage Grove Bike Park.
