Joining MORC
Why Join MORC?
• Most dirt trails in Minnesota's city, county,
and state parks are presently closed to bikers.
• More trails are threatened with closure to mountain biking.
•
Opportunities are growing – Land managers are currently evaluating opening areas
currently closed to bikes.
• Advocacy works.
• Your support is needed –
Our trail rights won't protect themselves; we need your help to make these
changes happen. Join us and get involved!
• If you are a forum user,
you will get special access and an icon under your name to let others know that
you support us. Some of the additional forum access you will get:
o Increased Private Message Limits
o Larger Avatar Size
o Larger
Profile Photo
o Use of Signatures
o More gallery space
o Access to
MORC Members forum (hear about trail openings first, as well
as other news and special offers)
o ... and more!
• Trails and even our forums don't pay for themselves.
We cannot continue offering services such as this web site and forums, or
continue to build and maintain trails, without membership dollars.
How Do I Join?
Currently there are three methods of joining MORC:
1. Online electronically using Paypal* to
pay your membership fee by clicking here.
2. Download an application and mail it in,
click here (PDF).
3. Email our
staffer at staff@morcmtb.org for
assistance.
What should I expect after I join?
Once your membership application and payment are received, our
staffer will enter your information (new or renewal) into our central database.
(typically within one to two weeks) If you have a forumid and
entered it into your application, you will get additional forum access as well
as the MORC icon under your username.
