What does the little
gnome icon mean? It started a few years ago as a
way to recognize people who donated some
amount toward the Gnome at Lebanon Hills.
Eventually it has come to stand as recognition for donating
in other ways, such as trailworker appreciation, helping
keep the forums running, etc.
Many people do what they can for the
biking community. They join MORC and/or they volunteer
in some way. A small donation such as this helps with
smaller projects that MORC cannot fund in its budget.
Each individual has their own reason for donating toward the
fund, and we thank them all for their contributions!
(small and large) Remember... you don't have to be a
MORC member to donate.
In 2009 we implemented a new
automated way of taking donations and granting the gnome
icon. Forum users are requested to go
here to donate.
