"Trail building
really gives you a feeling of ownership when you are out
riding the trails. I never knew how rewarding it could
be to join MORC's efforts to gain and maintain trails in the
area." - Joe Mhalmahe

How you can help improve local mountain biking
access
The
International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA)
has a 20-20-20 vision for the future of mountain
biking that involves each and every off-road
cyclist.
- The first 20 is $20 to
join your
local mountain bike organization (that's
MORC), because all mountain bikers need to be
involved in their local trail community.
- The second 20 is $20 to join
IMBA and become part of mountain biking's
indispensable national and international
movement.
- The final 20 is 20 hours per
year for trails – maybe three volunteer days
that can be spent on trail maintenance,
attending
public hearings, or perhaps contributing to
the production of a MORC newsletter by
contacting
John Lundell, MORC newsletter editor.
Mountain biking on public land
is a privilege. It's a wonderful activity that is
sustainable only if each and every one of us who
enjoys the sport gives something back.
