Thumbs up Congrats Marty & Lisa!!!!!!!!!!

    Hey Marty,
Congrats on having a babygirl, I bet she will be pedaling before she will be walking. How did Mojo fasten the rims to the BoB? Perhaps there ought to be BoB races, only with fastened coolers of beer & mandatory refreshment breaks.

    not really a modification :

Probably the result if one has a LWB-Recumbent and a MTB sitting unused for a while in the garage
Might be useful for carrying the beer to the trail construction site

I thought for sure the picture would be of a Bob trailer fully modified with a baby seat strapped in somehow and will a full roll bar. A little baby car seat complete with 5 point harness and HANS. (Head And Neck Support system used in auto racing.) I breifly entertained the idea of doing something like that, but was quickly over-ruled by my more reasonable wife.
A kids seat in a single wheeled trailer works (Iīve done that with my YAK), for some good reasons the manufacturers do not sanction to do it.

If you really want to transport a passenger in a single wheeled trailer you might have to use a singleTRAILer with suspension

Depends on what you want to do with it. Parts of it are mounted with sheet metal screws, The locking mechanism of the older ones have a spring loaded pin, you have to be careful not to bend the pin. If the pin is bend you are in trouble to secure the trailer to your bike. The newer Big Tows have a redesigned hitch with simple cotter pins.
That are probably no problems if you are mechanically talented.

Thereīs a report from Sandy and John on their Cross America Tour with a Big Tow behind a Tandem on http://sanjon1.crazyguyonabike.com

I used old spokes before I picked up my new yoke for the 29". Just twist them around the stay and loop it around the QR. Actually worked quite well.

I think I found my next project

That looks cool and seeing as how my B.O.B trailer has recently become only used for laundry runs. First need to do the pin fix since I have been just carrying around a roll of wire that was the same diameter and cutting a chunk off everytime I lost a pin.

    Hi,

very intresting tool rack. Itīs advanced recycling (of the rims etc.) You could replace the red tool box (whatīs in there?) with a mini bbq or a 24 bottle-beer-crate

    Regards
    Hans

Mojo's got a new, better set up now that I'll have to get a picture of and post up here again. This new one is metal and brazed, and probably more secure.

I tire the BOB kiddie trail thing too, and funny enough, the wife put the kibosh on it. Weird.

Everything is funny as long as it happens to somebody else.

Been there. Done that. Don't like it. Good idea. I'll try it!

Thanks Don, on behalf of "Backcountry BoB!"
