    I'll plan a clean-and-ride. Thanks.

Officially, it's still closed. I think the trails are ready but there is lots of debris, branches and a few down trees. If you don't mind the debris and are willing to avoid anything that seems a bit wet yet, I would guess you can give it go.
We have been hesitant to officially call the trails open due to the pending rain and the amount of downed branches and trees. We hate to call it open and then get several days of rain since it takes so long for things to dry out after a rain this time of year.
If you ride, don't be afraid to help us out by tossing a few sticks and such off the trail as you go.

Definitely hoping that Memorial is dry by the weekend... I would like to put together some good mileage up there and maybe link in a couple of hill repeats on Lerbach Rd. (Rag training)
Ride and Smile! See ya on the trails.

Depending on how much it rains this week, you might get your wish.
It looks like things are really close to being ready. It's just a question of how much the rain sets things back. Watch for a post on the general trail conditions thread.

Thanks for the info! I usually check the trail conditions thread, but it's great to have a local contact like Wheelhouse with knowledge of the current conditions. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
    Nice marmot.

I agree with Dan. Wheelhouse is your best bet for up to date knowledge.

If I had to guess, I would say that the trails won't be ready by then. But, with this nice weather, you never know.
The south side trails (like Southern Cross/stairway) dry up fast, but the north side (which is most of the trail mileage) takes a long time to dry out in the spring.

    Call Wheelhouse Cycles 651-388-1082
Or check the MORC trail conditions for Redwing. If it's open, I'll be riding there frequently and posting conditions.

Question-- Local Source for Memorial Trail Conditions?

I'm heading down to Red Wing with a couple friends for some road riding from March 30-April 1. We're keeping our fingers crossed that mountain biking might also be possible. But...we don't want to poach. Does anyone know a good local source down there for checking conditions/trail status, that we might be able to call/check in with when it gets closer to the time we'll be down there? Thanks.
    Nice marmot.
