    Its gone

The barb wire is removed. It's from an old fence that was installed before the city park was established. I can't believe the ditch witch didn't rip it up when we built the trail. Thanks again for the heads-up.

I'll have it removed ASAP. I rode yesterday afternoon and didn't see it so it must have happened after I left. Thanks for the heads-up.

    WARNING: Barb wire across trail

The wire runs across the trail at mile 2.5 (according to my cycle computer).
Get out your mental map: 20-30 feet before the intersection with a paved trail, where you can cross the paved trail or hook a left. The barb wire is right after a big tree (tree on the left).
Lucky I did not run over it on my first lap. I put some big bark over the wire so if someone tries to move the bark, they will see the wire. Too bad I did not bring my multi-tool with me after I cleaned out my camel back.
Looks to be from an old fence as I saw the post it was tied too right off the trail on the left.
