Sorry if I crashed in front of you today. I should have known something was wrong when I rode off into some grass randomly.

I second the call on the rain - it was super dusty yesterday.

Thanks John. I didn't want another mudfest like at Freewheel Frolic back in May. Tom

The rain we are getting right now is much-needed at Buck.

Buck Hill is a pile of sand. It can rain for hours there and, if it quits 10 minutes prior to race start, the conditions will be great.

The initial climb is like 'Kato, but not as long. There are 3-4 switchbacks, some uphill singletrack, then a gravel road that takes you to the top. There is no comparisson between Buck and Memorial. Just get over here, race, and find out for yourself.

I've never ridden there before, so was curious what the climbing is like compared to something like Mt. Kato or the Red Wing course. Any input would be much appreciated.

    TIA.

Just don't be a quitter, nobody wants to see you cry on the side of the trail despite all the sand and the steep initial climb they'll likely have you do.

Thanks Eric. You guys race every Thursday? I'm from Rochester. Burnsville is a bit of a trek.

Come to the race on thursday night and find out for yourself. The trail is in great shape, and we have the chance to race there 3 times in 8 days!
