Johnny, that video is great! Thanks for posting that up. I can already see where some "adjustments" need to be made for the prologue. There were a couple line cutters in the first section of woods in that tight chicane. Big rock next year. I was wishing I could be in one of the start waves to see how everything shakes down, and now I can!

    Thanks bro!

Really?? Only Rich comments on that picture?? That picture is PRICELESS and deserves more commentary. I mean, how can you ignore the udders?

Anyways, I am still reeling from a great race...or is it from the Red Bulls those girls kept giving me??

"the big ring is for dirt roads and down hills not powerline climbs and tight singletrack"

I thought it was just for scraping and banging against rocks and over logs. Huh. ~scribbles notes to self~

You can search for your race number with the letters "sta" (1020sta) after to see if I snapped a pic of you. There's more to come.

    Training

Look at all the love for Rich and the crew....

we all must take into consideration that Rich trains long and hard to be the best race director there is.

How does he train you ask?

Rich and Crew Rock! Thank you!

Thanks again Rich and all the volunteers for making this race exceed all our expectations again this year! I had my wife and 3 kids at this event this year and they all had an absolute blast. Especially my 5 yo boy who hung out with all the other big kids and then got hitched to the Red Bull truck after the races.

    One word: Epic!

    Cheers,

    -Rick Erickson

Thanks again Rich, the best trail boss/race director i know (heh!), and everyone who helped. The Hillside crew is top notch and I'm happy to be part of it all. It's always super fun over there, even if you're just watching / helping-out like me, and Rich & the Drit Wirx crew are pretty much why that's the case. (MAD props to those who actually RACED after the sweat-fest of prepping the trail for hours beforehand. ~Am amazed~ ~As usual~)

Thanks Tom, and everyone else who came up to admire *Tina*, your comments were much appreciated.

It's offical, the best event of the series.

A "tip of hat" to Rich and all the DirtWerx members. I was so impressed with all hands on deck clearing the trail @ 5 AM! It's just another testiment that's how all those guys roll. I'm glad to be a part time member.

Also, not to forget a big shoutout to the volunteers, sponsers, vendors, the city and fans. All of you made this event the envy of the series.

Rich, the truck was "awesome"! To bad we couldn't had a monster truck rally later in the lot. My boy would have flipped if you could have pull that off.

On another note, to Sue. The scupture was amazing, you're welding skills are top notch.

Last, I believe it's the best finish I've had in a series race! I sweet to call Hillside my home course.
