I would call myself about 5' 11.5" I ride with a saddle height of 760mm (measured from center of BB to top of saddle along seat-tube.)

The fit on the Raleigh is a little funky with its "dramatic" sloping top tube. The cockpit length is where I would like it to be, but it takes a LOT of seatpost. If it stops raining and trails dry up, we could make arrangements to have you try it out if you are interested.

Most definitely no lightweight. (Bathroom scale with bike) - (bathroom scale, no bike) = 26.5#'s

Thanks for the bump. It is a great bike but I think I have only ridden it twice. I loaned it out to Devin Quince for him to try and I think he rode it once. Other than that, it's been hanging in the basement. I listed the condition as good because of the 3 cosmetic scratches, otherwise the condition is really "as-new."

When push comes to shove, I always reach for something else. I've got two other custom off-roaders and almost always grab my old Trek OCLV fixed-gear.

I need to thin out some of the bikes that I own so the Raleigh is up for sale. I am willing to try to make arrangements to meet at local trails if someone is truly interested and would like to ride the bike.

    2007 Raleigh XXIX Size L

Picked up a Raleigh XXIX on a whim to give the 29'r thing a try. Already in love with my current bikes and have the need to thin out the collection of bikes in my basement. Trying to free up some room and cash for another project.

Only rode it a handful of times. I would call the condition excellent, but there are a couple of knicks in the paint, so I would call it great. Photos show the scratches:
