    Details:  5/24/2014

"Outerloop and inner loop are open, best access is from HNC parking lot. Meadow crossing between root canal and the pines is closed-too wet" - COGGSHartleyTC (Twitter).

    Also, the
connector from North Road is still a little too soggy (as of 5/29/2014).

Trail Condition: Wet Do Not Ride
    Date Posted: 08-30-2013 @ 07:06 AM

Details:  We just got some heavy rain 8/29/13 (NOAA only reports about .5", but it came hard & fast), so the trails will probably need couple of days to dry out.

Details:  Inner and outer loops are good to ride. You've got to get creative to find approach trails to get out to them without riding wet trails. The marsh area of trails is way too wet, stay off of those!

    Trail Condition: Fat Tires
    Date Posted: 02-21-2013 @ 12:30 PM

Details:  Rode Hartley today. Most of the single track is really nicely packed about 10 to 12 inches wide. Some spots a little loose and soft yet. Rode it on my 2.4" summer tires with very little problem (main problem was rider inexperience on the snow, haha). Great reroutes! Thanks COGGS and IMBA!

Details:  Rode late Wednesday. Colder than the devil, but trail is GREAT. Packed, but tight and lots of cold loose snow wider than 6". Re- routes are especially great for winter.

    Trail Condition: Icy

Details:  Rode Monday and Tuesday- rode on Pug Monday and lived in fear of ice and Tuesday was on 1x1 with studded 2.1" tires and ripped it. Ice is prevalent, even if it appears to be white. The magic of a sheen.
