There isn't a single trail in MN that will be ready to ride the first weekend of April. It's going to be awhile in both the Twin Cities and Duluth.

    Trail Condition: Ice
    Date Posted: 12-31-2010 @ 04:51 PM

Details:  The swamp loop and the trails leading up to the guard rail loop are in good shape. They are solid and a bit icy in spots. The trails on the other side of the pond are all rideable. The guard rail loop was ridable on a pugsley with low tire pressure. The trail was solid but it was really rough with foot prints and narrower than normal. We will have to see what happens with the snow tonight.

    Guard-rail loop is pretty nice

    Trail Condition: Tacky
    Date Posted: 11-04-2010 @ 05:45 PM

Details:  I rode from the parking lot to the pines and on to the guard-rail loop today and was surprised that it was in pretty good shape. It wasn't any muddier than usual. The normal wet spots are there, but it is otherwise ok. I didn't ride any other segments in Hartley though. I also rode Lester-Amity yesterday and that was pretty good too. The horse trail that goes from the top of the seven-bridges road to Jean-Duluth is real wet though.

Details:  Very muddy still. Please don't ride until dried up. Raining today so it'll most likely stay punched for some time. Piedmont and Lester dry up a lot quicker. Maybe by the weekend.

    Tacky

    Trail Condition: Tacky
    Date Posted: 09-06-2010 @ 12:18 PM

Details:  Mostly dry, some tacky areas. The low trails are predictably mashed potatoes. If you avoid them, the rest is great!
