    Trail Condition: Dry
    Date Posted: 08-29-2010 @ 10:47 PM

Details:  Singletrack is great! no more problems with sand in the corners (thanks to those that did trail work)

The gravel doubletrack is getting worse; the gravel on the outside of the ruts is becoming loose. I rode my brakes the whole way down the first hill and my back wheel started to "fish tail". I don't know if the city can bring in a grader? -make sure to be careful!

Details:  Tuesday's rain didn't affect the trail much, but really firmed up the sand.

    Tacky Goodness

    Trail Condition: Tacky
    Date Posted: 08-20-2010 @ 03:53 PM

Details:  We will call it tacky goodness. However, there is sand in almost every corner until you get to the double track ski trail. I have never seen so much sand. Hebels Hollow is trimmed and nice. The down hills on the ski trail can be sketchy due to the water erosion ruts. I went at 6 PM yesterday and no trail hazards placed by haters were present.

    Got some

    Trail Condition: Dry
    Date Posted: 08-19-2010 @ 06:24 PM

Details:  Thanks for taking care of that tree Cory. I rode it today the gravel section wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. You just have to be on one side or the other on the down hills. Lot's of sand in sections more then I've ever seen before.

    Get Some

    Trail Condition: Tacky
    Date Posted: 08-15-2010 @ 02:26 PM

Details:  First 2/3 of the trail inspected and downed tree removed. Entrance/corners drying up fast.

Didn't inspect the doubletrack, Chris mentioned it's in bad shape, so be careful.

    Trail Condition: Wet
    Date Posted: 08-14-2010 @ 09:01 PM

Details:  I walked the trail this after noon. It's actual pretty solid but there are a bunch of corners that are mud and of course the sand in the usual spots. There is a tree down before you make the sharp left that leads to the little down hill setion that goes to that open area. It will need a chain saw. I took pics of the gravel section hills there's a deep rut in the last hill you'd have to stay to the right. The main gravel section has ruts down the middle so you'd have to stay to one side or the other. If you hit any of those ruts you'll be going ass over tea kettle. I'll post the pics it the TO trail disscusion area. The trail by the hockey rink has standing water on it.

Details:  Just checked out the trail. The beginning section looks damp-to-tacky, but you can't get to the trailhead without going through a large pool of water and mud. Historically, that's an indicator for the middle section; it's likely a mud pit.

I would suggest staying off until Sunday.

Details:  We got some good rain last night. I would give it at least until this evening if not a full day to dry out. We still have storms in the forcast.

Details:  Standing water at entrance. Unless you like cleaning your bike, I suggest keeping off the trail for another day.

    Trail Condition: Damp
    Date Posted: 08-08-2010 @ 06:01 PM

Details:  Despite this weekend's rain, the trail is tacky with a few damp spots. Gravel double-track ruts are getting worse, likely due to recent downpours.
