Details:  Still closed. It will be weeks and not days before they are open.

Please remember that only the Theo Trail Steward or one of the Theo Dirt Bosses can re-open a closed trail.

We appreciate all the patience you can muster.

Details:  ALL sections of Theo will close at noon today. Gates will be locked tomorrow morning and will likely remain that way until the trails are brown AND dry. There obviously are NOT gates on the Glenwood and New Theo sections. Still closed. It's on the honor system. Please do the honorable thing and stay off.

Spring is just around the corner. 50 degrees this coming week. Please take advantage of the fantastic paved trails in the Metro and start building some miles for the summer riding season.

Stay tuned here or the MORC conditions forum for updates.

Details:  Good to go for any size tire.
North Loop is mint with a few exposed dirt spots along the railroad tracks.
South Loop is a mix of exposed dirt, ice and gray snow.
Glenwood and Bog Loops have the most exposed dirt and ice, but still fast and flowing

Details:  All four loops were in pretty good shape on Friday night. Keep your eyes out for a few small sections of ice.

Details:  Rode a few laps of the new quaking bog section, should be good for all tires, slightly glazed on some of the faster sections but otherwise fast and grippy

Details:  Great shape but loosens up a bit with the sun. Should be perfect later through Sunday. 2.1 tires and a woman on a cross bike (32mm) was ripping it today.
There's nothing natural about an off-road bike trail.

Details:  Rode Theo tonite for about 3 hours....was not expecting it to be so epic.....I think all the ice melted underneath and this new inch of snow we got is just enough to cover the trail and make it super smooth and fast....I did not slip at all so no ice underneath which took me a while to believe as its been so icy for a long time.....no need for studs....warm temp made it tacky snow but not too soft either....perfect!!!

Trail Condition: Melting Do Not Ride
    Date Posted: 02-07-2015 @ 11:25 AM

Details:  Details: South face of the S loop was starting to melt and turn into mud when I left at noon. N loop still seemed fine. Mostly packed snow, some frozen dirt and a few hidden patches of ice. Passable but a little slow at spots without studs.

Details:  I rode all sections on Friday early afternoon and it was mostly a packed surface. There was some dirt here and some ice there, but no mud by the time I left at 2. South Metro trails received more snow...

Details:  Extremely icy. I was able to slowly make progress with factory studded tries but was skidding all over the place. A lot of icy death ruts too. It's a good time to bring out the homemade studded tires.

Details:  Trail is 97% ice and 3% frozen dirt. Studs are a must! Low pressured fatbike tires don't grip...unless you have studded fatbike tires.

Details:  Theo trails should be good to go...but likely icy. Please use caution...especially in the tasty fast areas in New Theo and Glenwood.

Details:  Packed snow with quite a few spots of glare ice in low spots. Studded if you have them are helpful, but rideable without.
