WANTED: Series Race Director
The Race Directors of Minnesota are actively looking for an individual or multiple individuals who can help to re-establish, organize, and direct a mountain bike racing series in Minnesota for 2004 and beyond. Since the diminish of the Minnesota State Championship Series in 2002, racing in Minnesota has not been the same. The Race Directors of Minnesota feel that it is vital to reform a racing series that can help to re-create interest and growth at Minnesota events.
We are looking for individuals that have a general interest in mountain biking and are concerned for the state at which mountain biking racing is at in Minnesota.
Duties of such a Series Director would include, but are not limited to the following:
Working with and coordinating common functions between the events within the series
Soliciting Sponsorship
Promoting by mainly developing printed material to be mailed to individuals and bike shops throughout the Midwest
Creating and maintaining of a web site
