Didn't see a listing under trails in the forums for the Monticello Camp Manitou trail, so I'm putting this thread here! Rode there today and it was in great condition. Was a lot of fun. Great place to ride in the fall. Wet in a few spots that are normally wet, but tacky about 98% of the ride! Somebody (Pork Chops, Blast or someone else) has done a great job clearing the trails and it is in great condition right now. Also a washed out spot now has a new bridge. Anyway, if you're looking for a different ride near the cities, this is it and it is a fun ride right now. Saw a handful of other riders. Met one of our own MORC riders out there. Good to see a few of us once in awhile! It had been a couple of years since I made my way out there and I'm surprised it took so long. It sure was fun. Only recomendations I have are watch the leaves and really pay attention to the arrows marking the trail. It is really easy to head down the wrong path there and get a little lost. I was lucky to have my brother who rides there once in awhile lead so I didn't get off track. So just be careful to watch the arrows, especially at trail intersections!

That last post was my first website link and it actually worked. Amazing how easy it is and how long I've avoided it. Anyway it is a great map to get you to the Monticello trail system. They also have great direction maps for Hillside and Milaca on that website. The porkchopracing website looks to be in the early stages, but is pretty cool. Thanks to the Pork Chops for the work days they do on the Blast trails! Having worked on MORC trail days, I really appreciate the work of other groups!
