The trail re-routing and rehabilitation project at Terrace Oaks got underway last Thursday.
Nine of us got about two thirds of the finishing work done on the first two trail sections that had been machine cut earlier.
A special thanks to John Mette, Dave Pramann, Wade Strop and another hard-working guy who left before I could write his name down (forgive the oversight). In addition the stalwarts of MORC were also there to lend a hand and their expertise: Dale Gundberg, Tim Wegner, John Lundell and Don Youngdahl.
MORC has most of the tools needed but bring a rake or shovel or nippers if you have one as well as a pair of gloves. We'll be working on the new section which starts right at the top of the old wide washed out steep climb near the start of the trail maybe two blocks in.
You can contact me at johndahl@frontiernet.net or at home at 952-953-9050
Hope to see you Thursday!
