Which shops have the best pricing on clothing items? I need winter cycling gear and maybe padded unders. I tend to buy everything at Eriks but just wanted some opinions on other places too...

I have seen a good selection at Penn Cycle on Cliff and actually notice that their price is similar to many online places (before tax at least). Their selection seemed really good.
There are other shops that might be willing to give good deals though and treat you more one-on-one... I can't speak for them though, but I'm just guessing you don't always have to go to the largest shops to get the best deals.

The only problem is that they don't always process all orders placed on ther web site. An email confirming your order with performance means nothing... they are morons when it comes to customer service and the Internet.
...had to say it.. ;)

REI actually has the best selection of winter cycling stuff that I have found. The REI brand stuff is also not that expensive. I've been using a REI "randonee" jacket, various Pearl-izumi bottoms, balaclava, shoe covers, gloves and etc. for many years of winter riding. You can get completely outfitted there.
Additionally, they have one of the best selections of packs, lights, and other cycling specific gear. And they sell X-C ski stuff, which works well for cycling too (e.g. gloves and tops).

I’ve ordered at least 20 different times from them and have never had a problem.

Did you order from Performance Bike via the internet?
I only call in orders due to previous problems ordering bike parts via the internet. The last time I ordered from Cambria bike out of Calif. it took almost a month and I had another order from Performance on backorder with no acknowledgement. The processing of the internet orders and shipping of them take longer from my experiences.
