"Last Blast" ?

I saw on www.bamrider.org that there is a posted event for sometime in October. Here is all it says:

Mt. Kato Mountain Bike Park


So my question is is if anyone knows if this is going to happen and if so when? I think it'd be a great opportunity people to check out the ride down here if they haven't already.

This event has happened that last few years, actually. It usually is held in conjuction with a demo day from Fisher/Klien/LeMond. It's a great opportunity to try out some different rigs, see if anything catches your eye that you wanna save pennies for. I'll ask Aaron and Mike today what the deal is(if they know yet).

NO real news form the boys at A1, 'cept for the fact that it'll be the last weekend in October. I'll fill in as more news comes available.

That is what I was hoping for since it is my only free weekend of that month! Woohoo! Kato around Halloween has gotta be some nice riding!

Is this going to be taking place tommorow or Sunday? I still don't know. And is anyone planning to be there?

Call the A-1 Bike Shop in Mankato. They would probably know the skinny on any events in the area. If you don't know the number then use: Qwest Dex (http://www.qwestdex.com/) Don't bother contacting Mt. Kato. Their phone staff is non-existant until the weather gets colder.

They just updated it today on www.bamrider.org and it'll be held Nov. 2nd 1-4pm.

I won't be there this year. I've committed my self to doing the three remaining 'cross races(two left) this season. The one in Rochester is on the 2nd. Too bad! Have fun at Mt Kato.
