Hey all,

PLEASE NOTE THE TIME CHANGE TO 5:30PM FOR TRAILWORK!!!!!!!!

Work continues on the new singletrack trail being built in Inver Grove Heights.

This week the plan is to work on some of the wooded singletrack sections. We have finishing work and a little hand building to do. The rain last week really helped to knock down the dust and firm up the trails.

We do have section that will need to be recut by Dingo and BOB, as it slopes the wrong way. But it is only about 20 feet long and should be easy to fix.

The City would like to see these trails done and open by the winter, so we need everyone that can come out and help to show up.

Where: Salem Hills Parking Lot. Upper 55th street between hwy 52 and South Robert Trail.

When: 5:30pm Wednesday Sept 17th

What to Bring: Long Pants, Bug Dope, Water, and a wish to help build the first ALL NEW singletrack trail in the cities in over 10 years.

I just stopped by Harmon and noticed Dingo and BOB had some more trail cut... Looked like most, if not all, of the open field trail is cut. I'm not exactly sure but if we get over 8 - 10 people out there we should be able to complete the finish work in the open field...

BTW James, that link to mapquest just doesn't seem to work for me. Does it work for you?

I'll be there tonight. I might be a little late though. If I am I'll just head to the field parking area where we were last week.

Sorry, guys, just can't make it tonight. :( The wife and I gotta spend some quality time together and Wednesdays are shaping up to be the one day during the week we can do that. Oh well ...

I was thinking about bringing a 12 pack to share with the crew. Is that appropriate James?

Hey all,

Many thanks to Eric, Phillip, Kurt, Bob, Troy, Luther, and Tyson for showing up for trailwork tonight.

Biggest crew we have had all year and we finished off almost 2/3 of what Dingo and Bob cut yesterday. It should allow for the rain tomorrow to come in a really firm up the trail.

A special Thanks go out to Phiilip and Troy for providing a great assortment of after work beverages for us all to enjoy.

Once again Many thanks all and hope to see some new faces again next week. We have had probably 15-20 different members out working this year, if they all showed up at once I don't know what we would do, other than finish the whole trail!!!

Next week will have more swag to give away and another selection of post work refreshments.

Yup, a good work night I'd say! It's fun working and getting to know all of you better.

I'm gettin' pretty excited to have a completely new trail to ride!

Thanks for the swag James and MORC PR folks!
