Johnny Cashs music is an inspiration for me, and while I'm happy that he'll get to see his wife again, it is too bad that we'll not hear his mournfull deep baritone on any new recordings. I'm just glad that he was so prolific, and did privide us with amazing music while he was here.

Rest in Peace.

I recently read that he had been working with Rick Rubin on some new recordings. I also heard there is supposed to be a release of songs he recorded with Rubin that didn't make it onto the released CDs.

May you rest in peace, Mr. Cash.

This is my all time favorite pic of him, hope it doesn't offend anyone, if it does, I'll remove it:

Doesn't offend me, it's badass! I think it's a perfect way to honor the man :).

I listened to Cash exclusively all the way up, while I was at and on the way home from Cheq Fat this weekend as a kind of personal rememberance of one of my favorite artists of all time! It was actually weird how my boxed set and 4 American Recordings albums filled the time perfectly to within 4 blocks of my house on the way back, like it was meant to be. My Dad is about his age and I grew up listening to his music via my Dad's records and have bought every one of his latest albums on the first day of release. I will really miss looking forward to new albums by him.

Supposedly there is enough material recorded in the last four album sessions to make 3 cds, so hopefully we will get to hear more!

By the way, great tribute picture, a favorite of mine also!

Anyway Rest in Peace Johnny, you will be missed!!!!!!!!:cryin:
