Trail steward Dennis Porter and I would like to invite you to a ride/review of the River Bottoms Trail from the Ferry Bridge to Indian Mounds Elementary School at 10AM Sunday the 7th of September - meeting at the Lyndale Avenue Boat Ramp Parking Lot. The ride/review will probably last about two hours.
Purpose is to get interested parties to ride the trail (bring your bike) to meet each other, review and list the issues on the trail which need attention. Then we can work with the City of Bloomington to prioritize this list.
Many of us use the trail and probably have ideas about what we should do. We want all of these ideas to be considered for future plans. We can also review the proposed re-route on the East side.
As far as what to bring: your bike and full water bottles should be sufficient. Dennis promised not to hammer us too bad. If you wanna bring along small tools like a folding saw or clippers that is fine as there may be some small things we can address if needed.
