Ok,

This needs to be said right now. We need to all say thanks to any convict you see on a workcrew. Inver Grove Heights had a group of Sentenced to Serve out to do some brush clearing for s on the trail we are building in Inver Grove.

I estimate they probably saved us 2 MONTHS worth of hand clearing work in the park.

I have no idea how many they had out, or what type of tools they were using, but this crew blasted thier way through almost 1 mile of VERY HEAVY undergrowth, Grape and Rasberry Vines, Dead and down Pine Trees, and thick sumac groves.

With this help, and Tree Trust already having 2 of the 3 bridges done that we are going to need on this trail, if we can get a good crew of people, 8-16, out every wednesday in August, and the weather cooperates, we could have 4-5 miles of brand new, high speed, fast flowing singletrack done sometime in september or early october.

So come on everyone, come help develop mountain bike trails in a whole new section of the twins cities and in a park were there has been No development at all.

A special thanks out to David, Phillip, Bob, and JJ for the work we did last night and being lucky enough to get first looks as we walked the entire trail.

For more info and directions, give me a call.
