Only 2 more trail work sessions left before we take August off. These last 2 will be very important!
Rumor is a reporter from the Pioneer Press *may* show up to this weeks trail work.... so, if you want to get in the paper you'll want to show up. Its not confirmed yet, but last we heard from him he said he would be there.
Also, be the first to learn the future of Lebanon Hills as we'll be meeting with them Tuesday afternoon to discuss some possible new important things in the works.
Hope to see you all there!

Bring gloves, work clothes... we'll have the trail tools and all the rest of the stuff.
If I remember, I'll bring MORC trail work t-shirts for those that don't have them yet...
See ya there!

Actually we do have like 3-4 pairs of work gloves you could use too if you don't have any.. definitely don't go out and spend $ on em' just for tonight....

A HUGE thank you to everyone that showed up tonight!
Everyone will notice right away what we worked on tonight as you bike through the Intermediate loop. Just before the uphill log there was a rather quick downhill with lots of bumps from heavy braking in it, followed by a real sharp left turn that really took your momentum away.
We dipped down below the existing downhill and did a few s turns on down the hill, then put in a much wider turn around that corner. This should solve the braking bumps and help keep a good flow around the corner on up to the log.
We also threw a little rock pile in just before the new trail, so watch for that on your next lap.
The reporter from the Pioneer Press was out tonight as well.. we should be in the paper here shortly. I'll post more on this when I hear back from them. Thanks Chris D for setting that up for us!
Next week is our last trailwork Tuesday before the month of August off. We hope to start building some new singletrack in September though - so don't think we're giving everyone the rest of the year off! ;)

Sorry I couldn't be there last night, guys. :( Wedding is T-17 days and counting!
Glad I could set up the Pie Press coverage, though! I hope that'll help the cause a lot by getting the word out there. :)

I know, I was lookin' forward to some bare-knuckle Left vs. Right brawlin'!!!! :hit:
heh heh ...
Gotta do group rides at Lebannon in August in lieu of trail work, I think. But, before that ... anybody up for a Sunday trip to Levis-Trow this weekend? Gonna take one quick trip before the wedding day with a bud and we got room for one more body and bike in the Suby!

It's too bad that I missed out on helping with the trails Tues. This last weekend tubing down the river turned me into a crispy lobster haha so movement was pretty slow the last few days! Great weekend for the river though! We made the trip 3 times and still fit in time for ozzfest.
I'm excited to check out the new jerseys though! They look good!
