Cut Foot Sioux

I was up in the Chippewa Forest last weekend and rode a portion of the Cut Foot Sioux trail. I started at the forest ranger station and rode about half of the loop on the east side of Hwy 46. There were a lot of trees down across the trail and there were many intersections that were poorly marked. I noticed that there will be an IMBA trailbuilding school up there in a few weeks. I talked to the volunteers at the ranger station and they admitted that there was not a lot of trail maintenance being done. The loop is over 20 miles and is quite remote so it is difficult to get in and clear trees from parts of it. Does anybody know what the plans are for IMBA in the Chippewa Forest. I am particularly interested because I vacation there at least one weekend a month and am willing to volunteer some of my time if it will help these trails.
