We're back! After a one-week detour over to Murphy, we're back at Lebanon Hills through the end of July to continue our trail work.

What are we doing this Tuesday? Hmmm... not sure yet! Any suggestions? I was thinking we'd take a break from berm construction and do something different.

There are a number of things necessary - so don't feel like whatever we do is not important. The list of small fixes we could do at Lebanon is growing. Don't forget we're taking the entire month of August off as well - so no trail work in August at Lebanon!

Then we're back at it possibly working on some re-routes in September (fixing some of those nasty temporarly re-routes we did earlier in the year) so, we need to use these remaining weeks to get small projects done to prepare for even more great improved trails.

Unfortunately I still can't make it on Tuesdays but I vote to start on the removing/reworking the temp reroutes...the last one is getting pretty beat up

We'll be at the JCRR parking lot just before 6pm and will walk out to the trail around 6:10pm. We try place a map at the trailhead showing where we are working for those that show up late.

We usually work until around 8:30 or when it starts getting dark. However, if you have to leave early thats cool - many show up for a few hours then leave to get back home or to other things.

We'd love to have ya there!

Hope to see everyone tonight at trail work.. probably too wet to ride, so this is a great time to do your part to help out.

We have had one of our best years yet for trail volunteers. It has been great to get to know more and more of my fellow mountain bikers and better our trails at the same time.

See ya there!

I just had 2 questions...
Is this the lot at the cliff/lexington intersection?
Is anything in particular needed to be brought when helping out?

This is the lot south of Cliff off Johnny Cake Ridge Road. Here is a mapquest to the lot:

Mapquest (http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?country=US&addtohistory=&address=4791+Johnny+Cake+Ridge+Road&city=eagan&state=mn&zipcode=55122&homesubmit=Get+Map&zoom=8)

Bring some work gloves, maybe wear some work boots and clothes you don't mind getting "a little" dirty. Water is good to have too (many wear their camelbak's), but we often have some on hand just in case.

We'll supply the tools and bug spray etc.

Thanks to everyone that showed up for trail work this evening. We had one of our smallest crews all year, but we still got some stuff done.

Look for 3 new small log drops toward the end of the XX loop. These are new thanks to our trail crew tonight.

We also sank a few rocks that had become loose in one of the rock gardens and removed a stupid root that was sticking up on the climb out of the XX loop. (you probably know the one, it was in the middle of the trail as you turn the corner to go under the log)

There were some nasty bugs out there tonight, so we cut trail work short and called it an evening.

There were a TON of riders tonight. Luckily trail conditions were better than expected after so much rain. Most were quite thankful of our efforts... but hey, would be cool to get you guys out for a trail work session one of these times! We seem to see the SAME PEOPLE every Tuesday night - never show up to trail work, but always there to ride. Ok - enough pressure ;)

Thanks guys (and gal) for showing up tonight!

Only 2 more trail work sessions left before we take the month of August off. I hope many more can show up the next couple of weeks. Jan Lee, our bestest Dirt Boss in the world (who probably also recruited most of you out there, including myself...) will be leaving mid-August... so you should come out one of the last Tuesday's to say "hey" to Jan before he leaves us.
