As long as we don't get *too* much rain, we'll be back on the trail again at 6pm on Tuesday as always. Perhaps another berm.. perhaps more rock work.. Hmmm.. I'll post more details when I get them.
Stay tuned here just in case we were to cancel the event - but usually it can rain quite a bit before we have to worry about it.
Reminder that we'll be taking the month of August off entirely as well to give everyone a break and let people ride. Until then, we'll still have lots of fun things to do out there. It has really been a great time this year and I enjoy getting to know more and more of you over time.

Word is we'll be doing some cool chainsaw work tomorrow, fixing and modifying some of the log piles at the start of the XX loop... this will be a lot of fun. Hope to see ya there!!
First 5 to show up and say the key phrase to me "Lebanon Hills Trail Work Rules!" will receive a free bike tube...

As far as I know we are still on for tonight.. unless it is pouring rain around 6pm in which case there will probably be many bikers ruining the trails, but no trail workers to catch them ;)
It does look like it could rain more this afternoon.. so stay tuned.

Hey - be careful with that quoting thing there.. ;)
Latest rain looks like it only dropped about .07" on Leb, so I'm going to assume trail work is a GO tonight as usual. We'll be working with logs more than rocks/dirt anyway.
Its Jan Lee's Birthday today as well - so everyone wish him a happy one tonight when you see him.
Trailwork on your birthday... wish everyone were that dedicated! ;) Then again its my wife Liz's birthday today too, and I'm doing trail work too! (yes, she said it was ok...)

I noticed on the maps that there appears to be ample room for more trails in this park. I know almost nothing about the terrain off the trail, but it seems like there could be a pretty good loop off of the intermediate section (the short cut back to the lot).
Can any one comment?

There are currently 2 trails being considered at this time - Tim's Dream (a loop back to the lot from the exit of the Expert loop) and another one leaving the parking lot at the start. Those 2 could go in and avoid hitting the hiking trails, but many more would probably crowd things a bit too much.
We need to get things all mapped out and who knows - there is always possibilities out there. Would be nice to eventually have a 9-10 mile loop out there.

Shortcut to Expert Loop? You're kidding right?
I would think efforts for trail creation would be better served by creating some more length to stretch things out a bit. I like the idea of 9 to 10 mile loop a LOT better.:p
