I just lost my wallet at lebanon. If anybody finds it, please call me at 651-731-0388. My saddlebag somehow rattled open so I'm guessing that it fell out somewhere in the expert loop.

I did two laps around 5:45pm yesterday and didn't see it sorry....
PS...seeing quite a few water bottles out there lately-don't people notice when they loose them? (Even saw a petal yesterday)

A few years back I hit Murphy for the first time. On one of the first downhills I ran through a section that was fairly washboarded. My bottle bounced out and my rear wheel ran over it and throwing me off line and off the trail. I stopped and as I looked around I saw water bottles everywhere. I thought that was pretty funny-the bonus was I looked down and inches away from my foot was a nice multi tool, half burried in the dirt and grass which I used until last year.

Make sure you report it to the park patrol. Also, check at the offices at both the LH campground and Schultz Beach. Somebody may have turned it in there.
Ride safe,

Yeah, I get nervous about having my wallet on me, I leave mine in the car. Some of the newer Camelbaks have zipper pockets, so if you ride to the trail or just need your wallet or cell phone or whatever with you, you can solve the wallet and water bottle losing problem with 1 purchase.
Camelbaks rule!

I confess, most of those waterbotles are mine. You see I practice everything I normally would do for a race on the local trails. I bring my wife who hands me the waterbottles to get the timing just right. At some point I run out of water so I have to get rid of them. There real cheap so sometimes I miss picking up one.
Ok, I don't race but I do have a wife. Sorry for whacking humor but I just imagined some nut practicing throwing water bottles. Oh the humanity.

No but I'm technically under the "Sales" umbrella even though Revenue Management is 1/2 sales 1/2 accounting...close enought?

I lost a brand new Alien tool last year, along with a crank bros. mini-pump. (luckily not my keys) - thats the last time I used a bike bag of any kind. I trust my jersey pockets more than I trust those things.
Someone out there found some treasure last year at my expense...

Any word on your wallet yet?
I love my Camelback! Everything goes in it. Still got the empty water bottle, it hasn't fallen out, but I probably don't ride as hard as the rest of you.
It would seem that I shouldn't leave my wallet in the car, due to all the broken glass I have been seeing at the Battle Creek parking lots.
Working on the trail crew, you collect all sorts of "trail find". Haven't found any wallets yet, but we could have a huge collections of pedal reflectors and wheel reflectors, as well as those snap-in platform adapters that new bikes have snapped into the slipless pledals.
I do have the Deore front wheel that someone left at Lebanon last summer..if you know someone who's riding wheelies with no front wheel, tell them I have it.

I had this experience--losing stuff from a saddle pouch--fortunately I was riding in front and my buddy stopped me to complain that my tools were going to cause him a flat.
The solution I found is a simple twist-tie.
Most saddle pouches have dual zippers with pull tabs of some sort (with a loop either at the end or near the base of the pull where it connects to the metal zipper). Simply pull the two sides of the zipper together and slide a twist-tie between, turn it a couple times and bring and end to random gear drops!
I recommend the black-plastic coated twist-ties that are used package electronic products and toys (you know the ones you have dozens of after each Christmas or birthday gift opening routine). They handle getting wet better than the paper clad garbage bag ties and seem to be resusable for months!
I suppose you could get fancy and use a combo luggage lock but DON'T use a zipperlock wire tie (this was my first thought and then I tried to break one open with my fingers--ouch).
