24 of Afton Aug 03!!

Anyone know how the 24 of Afton registration will be handled this year? Will it be like past years the closer you get the more it will cost and be roughly the same pay scales? Or will be less and so on?
I would like to register as soon as possible. If anyone knows any information please post for me :)

The 2003 24 Hours of Afton is scheduled for August 22-23. More info to follow soon.

The web site seems to be a bit touch and go... Someone appears to have missed all of the references to 2003...since all the dates still say 2002. But race day August 22 does correspond to the Friday in August 2003. So, I sent in my registration. Looks like everything is pretty similar to years passed.

$260.00 before August 8, 2002:all score a T-shirt!
$320.00 till race day

$60.00 before July 25, 2002: score socks and a T-shirt!

Hi there!

The 24 Hours of Afton is THE ORIGINAL midwest ultra endurance off road event for team and solo competitors. Promoted from the beginning of time by he mysterious Habanero Bicycle Club this is in fact the 10th anniversary!

Please be sure to enter early and note that the event benefits a local IMBA affiliated organization the Minnesota Off Road Cyclists (MORC) www.morcmtb.org we certainly hope that you are already a member of this fine organization but in case you are not or are not aware of all the great things they are doing to bring you trail access in the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota be sure to check their website.

The event is on as usual at 5PM on 22 August 2003. Registration is again on a variable fee basis depending upon when you enter - the first deadline is this Friday 25 July.
