Just wondering if anyone has tried a Cane Creek Thudbuster seat post. I know maybe I should just get a FS bike blah blah blah. Any feed back on the seat post would be appreciated. Thanks
I wonder how much you would charge to haunt a house?

I ride a hard tail and have a thudbuster. I really like it. It smoothes out the big hits and you don't really notice the small stuff. It works a lot better than a telescoping post because of the angle that it drops back at and that it doesn't have stiction from the sliding posts.
If you think you would like something more comfortable and don't want to sink the bucks into a full suspension, get a thudbuster.

having both owned the original (pre-cane creek) thudbuster and now a full suspension rig, i can tell you that the thuddie's a worthwhile investment. for most of the riding you'll do around here, it's more than enough to smooth out the little stuff you'd be in the saddle for anyway. i'm not sure what alterations/improvements cane has made to the basic design, but i dug mine.

Thanks for the response I'll give one a try. Wasn't sure if it was any good as it is hard to test one and I haven't seen anyone that had one.

I've used a Thudbuster seatpost for 3 years. It does save your butt some wear and tear. Probably worth the extra weight. They do bob like some full suspension bikes do, so you have to pedal smoothly.
After years of putting down full-suspension bikes, I bought a 2002 Specialized FSR ProXC and will never ride a hardtail again!Fast, smooth, light, no bobbing.
