2003 Afton 24 Hour Race

Hey -

Those interested - the Afton 24 Hour Race is on, according to Afton Alps! My brother just called (hard for me to since I am in the Middle East!) and e-mailed me that the 24 hour event is still planned for August 22 - 23, 2003.

Is there contrary info out there - I recall seeing posts/comments by others saying no return e-mails or calls led one to think otherwise.

Can anyone comment about this truely fabulous event?!

Yup, it is definitely on - MORC is working with the event sponsors once again this year to pull off this excellent event.

I'm going to ask the Race coordinators to start posting more info on this event.

The 24 Hours of Afton is a wonderful event (this is my 7th)! My children look forward to it and really tests the 'ol training regimen - besides being really fun!

New website will be up next week. There is a new address this year www.24hoursofafton.org email can be sent to info@24hoursofafton.org The old address was a .com address we will be getting the .com address and .net addresses but I am not sure of the timing on that. I woulld only publish the .org address and put a notice on the web site about the address changing. I hope that was clear if not let me know.
