Just a reminder that the Backcountry Trail Patrol will begin our patrol season this weekend in the Chippewa National Forest. We will be patrolling and doing light trail work on the Trout Lake and Simpson Creek/Cutfoot Sioux areas, and doing preparation work for the Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew visit in July.
We will be staying in the interior at Trout Lake on Friday night and at Simpson Creek on Saturday night. New volunteers are welcome to stay with us in the backcountry, or stay at a developed campground (or a resort :eyeroll: ) and meet up with the patrol in the morning. The weather is supposed to be excellent (Clear, low 70s) all weekend.
