New Patrol in MN!

I am pleased to announce the establishment of a new National Mountain Bike Patrol unit here in Minnesota. This weekend three members of a patrol so new they don't even have an official name yet, took their NMBP training in Duluth. The new patrollers, Kurt Lange, Phil Monson and Jay Giddings, are looking forward to patrolling trails and working at events in northern Minnesota and NW Wisconsin.

The new Duluth-based unit has chosen the name "Arrowhead Mountain Bike Patrol." They will be covering the Twin Ports area, the North Shore, the Willard Munger State Trail and Superior National Forest, where they will also be working in concert with the Backcountry Trail Patrol.
