Group ride at The Farm???

Just wondering if there is a group of readers out there planning on a set group night for The Farm? I've wanted to get out there, but have been warned that the trail system is a little confusing at first. I wanted to see get in on a group ride to get the in's & out's of the trail with a group of rider's more familiar with the area.

I'd be up for a group ride. I've never ridden there before either. But from what I've heard it sounds good to me.

I love the Farm. I'd be up for a group ride this weekend but I think I am racing both Sat. and Sunday.

I think there's a group that rides out there on Tuesdays....

We are planning a group ride @ the farm this Sunday, May 3, at 12:00 noon. Meet at the Minnetonka Penn Cycle at noon, or at SA at 12:30. All are welcome, for more info, call Ed or Eric at Penn Cycle (952) 593-5030. The weather should be great!

I should be able to make it.

A suggestion, Any more than 6 cars and SA gets overloaded and I do not want to piss them off. If we expect a big turn out we might want to meet at Cadillac Jack's. Bar / Sandwich Shop in the Rainbow foods area. Across the street from Target.

This gives us a bigger lot to start from, and cold beer when we are done.

There is also a Quizno's next door.

I'll bring the single with the right gearing this time and see if I can clear it all.

P.S. I'll bring the Helmet cam to get some riding shots, gonna do some seat mount shooting backwards and some Haldheld stuff if people feel like stopping and starting and not just hammering the loops.

I have seen the weather forecast, and it does not look good. Let's hope that the rain holds out until Sunday night, or else we will have to cancel the ride. :mad:

We were able to get in 2 laps before it rained! Super fun. We are doing it again next Sunday, May 11th. Meet at Minnetonka Penn Cycle at 9:00 or at the trailhead at 9:30am, and we will head out from there. Looks like so far the forecast calls for dry trails!

How was the Farm? Last year i started to notice more and more garbage along the trail. I know most of it isnt from the bikers either. They havent started to build the new road yet have they? I would like to go check it out on sunday if i get time, but Finals for school kind of worry me now.

I was not able to make it to last weekends ride. I hope to make it to one of them. I will not be able to make it this weekend either.
