Sweet Socks :banana: Speaking of MORC membership. I was wondering if MORC sends out renewal letters. I feel like I have let my membership lapse and we don't want that!

Renewel notices go out to expiring members with the newsletter closest to your expiration date. We sent out a whole bunch of them this week so If you think you have lapsed look in the mail.

You also get cool socks if you join IMBA, if you join the National Mountain Bike Patrol (and they finally got rid of those awful yellow things!) as well as when you join MORC. So get lots of socks and join all three!

Then you can be like Kleincrazy and wear a different sock on each paw. :D

Good question! In the past we haven't, but recently we have been putting renewal notices in the newsletters for members that are near expiration.

Eventually we'd like to have some way of checking memberships online, or having automated emails or a mailing etc.

We DEFINITELY do not want to lose members willing to renew.

Anyone have other suggestions?

Another good question! If you signed up and clicked on "do not send me a paper copy of the newsletter" then you might not be getting one. We just sent one out, so if you don't get one in the next few days let me know and we'll get you back on the list. I can also send you one out if you like, and we also post it in PDF format (which I will do here as soon as I get the final copy in electronic format)

Sometime down the road I would like to see MORC stickers, new t-shirts, and even bike jerseys.. but we need to up our membership and support to pull off the jersey thing since they cost quite a bit initially.

I'll be posting it shortly. (I don't have it in electronic format yet) We just sent the April one out 2 days ago as well, so you might still get it.

Did you get your socks? They get sent out in bunches I think, so it can sometimes take a few weeks after joining. (we'll have to get better about that)

Your socks will go out with the next batch. I would guess in a couple of weeks.

Granted if you need XL it might be a little longer as we have run out and are waiting for our order to get here. Should be about 3 weeks I hope.

According to the MORC database, you requested NOT to receive a paper newsletter. Please let me know if you would like to change your preference.
