Many of you are already MORC members, and we appreciate your support!
I wanted to just appeal to all of you out there that have not joined/renewed or otherwise supported MORC...
As you read various messages on the boards, you quickly get a sense of how much work has been put into the area for mountain biking by this group. You see new efforts and success in gaining new trails or keeping existing ones open (and improved). You see races being supported and sponsored. You see attention from outside organizations (IMBA hotspots this year). How about (blowing my own horn a bit) the new web site and resources? Many MORC members are putting in hundreds of volunteer hours to make this a better place for mountain biking.
I want to invite all of you to please support MORC. I'm trying not to "guilt" anyone, but a small membership or donation, as well as some time out on the trails or at an event would really go a long way. MORC is on a roll right now - there is a lot of momentum building behind them. With all the planned activities this year, MORC needs your support now more than ever!
I have never felt better about supporting an organization than I have of this one. I have never met a member that wasn't willing to give of themselves for the love of mountain biking. Joining MORC also gave me a new appreciation for the trails and a renewed love of the sport.
