The City of Bloomington is holding a winter festival with
various events from ice skating parties, kickball tournament, snowshoe demos, cross country skiing, specials on lift tickets at Hyland Hills and a BIKE RACE on Bush Lake. The festival starts on Thursday January 23 and finishes on Saturday January 25. The Chilly Chili Bike Race sponsored by Salsa Cycles and Penn Cycle is on Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
Registration starts at 9:00am. There will be three races a Kids 15 year old and under race starting at 10am, an open category race at 11am , and a elite race (USCF and or USA Cycling license is needed) at 1:00pm. Studded tires are highly recommended. Peace coffee will also be there with coffee and hot chocolate. Please spread the word about this festival and come on
out for some winter fun.
