I only have one thing to say about a day like this in January...
GET OUT AND RIDE!!!
See you on the trails, this afternoon!

Just beware of trails that start to thaw - they can become muddy, and that usually means you are doing damage to the trails. Get out there and enjoy the weather, but if you notice the trail you are on starting to thaw and get slippery you should probably stay off and wait until it freezes again.

Actually, where I ended up riding (Elm Creek) it was so dry as to be a bit dusty! We have not had any significant precipitation since October. Not that there are not places that may be wet, but there are also some really dry trails out there, too!
Just remember the IMBA "Rules of the the Trail" and you'll be fine!
Happy thaw,

Yup, I'd bet there are some REALLY nice places to ride... unfortunately I found out tonight that Lebanon Hills is not one of them after I took a walk around the trail. Has been lots of bikers on it too, lots of ruts already. I'll post more in the Leb forum.
For those that found dry spots to ride, enjoy! This has been a good winter for biking.
(sorry for those of you that have snowmobiles..)
