Happy New Year!
I hope everyone is taking advantage of this fantastic winter weather to get out and RIDE!
Is anyone out there interested in off-road touring? I mean something like the Maah Daah Hey Trail, or the Great Divide Mt. Bike Route, or the Lolo Trail, where you are doing a fully self contained ride for several days/nights at a time.
Me? I keep trying to work my way across the Superior National Forest on trails and fire roads only. I say "keep trying" because it's kind of like Sir John Franklin and the Northwest Passage. I keep running into dead ends that the map says should go through. To paraphrase the song, "Oh for just one time, I would take the Northwest Passage, ...and find the Northwest Passage to Ely!"
