Winter rides??

Anyone know of good places to ride during our long cold winter? Not just local trails, but out of state rides worth a trip? Perhaps down south??

I don't know if I'll make it through the winter without getting out somewhere to ride.

Someone should buy a huge pole shed, bring in some dirt and create an indoor riding trail (still cold, but free of snow and elements)... someone want to go do that? :D

I believe you can ride Memorial Trail in Red Wing all winter, some area is used for xc ski though. If interested let me know, I live in Red Wing.

snow and cold are 1/2 the fun. we have a group ride every wed night in dulluth and every saturday. in fact, i'm leaving in 2 hrs to meet the gang. studded tires and wind/waterproof clothes make it that much more enjoyable.

Yeah Kurt, I guess most metro-area riders DO consider Duluth to be an out-of-state ride!:D
