While the design group is crawling around in the woods, there will also be a maintenance session for those who prefer to actually do something. With tools, even! :crazy2:

The maintenance crew will be leaving from the par three lot at five, but you can find them later on the trail. They will be mitigating the worst of the damage from recent rains and poachers as well as removing a rogue bed frame from the side of the trail. Really! (Thanks for the heads up, TBK.)

The trail suffered a lot during the recent heavy rains. There are a lot of sand and debris that are building up in the low spots and corners. If it is not taken care of more damage will occur to the trail. I will also take longer to dry so the trail will be closed longer after it rains. The trial could really use your help. Please try to make it out if you have a little extra time. No experience is needed, and it’s kind of fun to learn about the trail and what all the volunteers do to keep the trail ride able.

I know its more fun to be out riding, but you will enjoy riding more if you know that you helped to build or maintain the trail.
