Thinking about going out here next weekend.
What kind of tires would work well this time of year also considering the weather we've been having?

Levis is rooty and sandy. I used Panaracer Rampages out there earlier this summer and they work incredibly well. Hope this helps! :)

Anything but a slick will work fine. Something with knobbies is good for sure.

Those look alot like like Nevegals.
I have 2.1 Nevegals and 2.35 Nevegals and also 2.25 Schwalbe Nobby Nics.

Are Racing Ralphs too slick ya think?

Alot of climbing? Need an aggressive rear tire?

I ran the 2.35 Nevegals out there this weekend and I thought they performed very well. The climbs aren't what get you, not to say they aren't respectable, but it's the sand that will prove to be your downfall. Buddy runs 2.1's, he could ride but you definitely could tell he was having handling issues at points.

A few trails you definitely have to hit are Goat Dance, Corkscrew, Toad Road, Cliffhanger, Porkys Point. Be sure to also check out the lookout points near where Clarence & Cliffhanger meet, it's the grey trail on the map...There feature loop is pretty sweet too.
