Salsa 24 Trail work!!

After many thoughts and talking with a few people we have decided rather then try to cut some new trail. That we are going to go with what we have and fix what we can to make the Afton course work for Salsa 24. Tony too will being needing a hand with his DH fun and games. There is a ton to do for all, clean and trim the trail to fixing and rerouting sections that have been damaged by Maintenance and/or Mother Nature.
We are planing every weekend from here on out and we can do a week night too if that is better for some.( you have to give a shout out in order to be heard) We will be out there at 0900 hrs this sunday the 1st!!

I can make it tomorrow. Unsure about what time though. My guess is 10am.

What can I bring and, since I've never been there when there's no snow, am I going to be able to find you all?

Meet at the club house on top at 9:00. Bring any tools you havefor trail work,(loppers,shovel, etc). If you want, your bike too. You are free to ride the trail afterwards.

Thanks to everyone who showed up for trail-work today! WE had a good group and were able to get a lot done. The trail is looking awesome and should make for a great race. We have some reroutes for the race that are all marked so watch out for those if you are pre-riding. Trail-work is planned for next Sat.&Sun. so come out and help.:D

Afton does not have many tools, so bring your favorite trail work tool or two.
Gloves, water, bug spray, etc.
