It's trailwork Wednesday tomorrow!

Meet the crew in the par three lot at five pm or stalk us on the trail if you arrive later. Tools are provided, but please bring work boots, long pants, gloves, bug spray and water to the session.

There is a sixty percent chance of severe weather and storms tomorrow, so please check here before you head out.

We are tentatively planning a materials acquisition day before the meeting next week, so please plan for a) a possible field trip, b) starting the MOCA meeting at a later than normal time and c) bringing your pickup or trailer if you are one of the generous folks who will regularly let us abuse your vehicle. There will be more on this if/when we can get our ducks aligned.

There might be more tree removal. There were a few pretty big trees that had fallen on the wirth bike path and the Luce Line. I didn't check the MTB trail for trees when I went to close the gates because I was short on time.

We'll plan for tree removal and at least a bit of maintenance. Weather and level of trail gooeyness will dictate where we go from there.

So no different than usual? ;) :p

Thanks for offering up your vehicle.

Have the easiest possible surgery and heal quickly!

It's very heavy in Bloomington right now.

Stupid rain.

It looks like this wave could miss Theo, but more rain is cropping up.

We'll make the call in an hour or less. If anyone closer to the trail or better at radar has an opinion, please share.

That's awesome, James. Thanks!

MOCAns are currently weighing in on whether or not we should call trailwork. If you have an opinion and aren't in on the email discussion, please post it in the next ten minutes. Majority will rule.

Let's go for it! I'm about 4 miles to the NW and it is dry.

Jepp said it didn't hit his part of town.

I've got two votes for calling it and one for crossing our fingers. Anyone else want a say?

(and no, I'm not voting)

Since the yesses (Tom ) are more enthusiastic than the nos, game on! We'll see you there at five.

Now I'll be changing clothes soon.

See you on Penn, even if you're in a car.

If I'm in a car it will be a police car, charged with homicide. I do not like it when people mess with my bicycle.

See you on the road!
