I stopped by to see how the construction was going. There was about a mile that looked ridable. Probably about 3 to four times that was roughed.
The contractor seems to being a good job with plenty of trees and rocks the size of Volkswagens left in place and the trail snaking around and between them. Very little disturbance of the natural environment.
I will go and take pictures next time I am down at Cuyuna.
