I know this thread is for trail discussion, but I wanted our partners in Grand Rapids to be aware of a Legacy Grant Meeting being held in Grand Rapids. These meetings are being held by the state of MN to figure out how to spend Legacy Grant Money. If we want some of this money spent on mtn bike projects, we need to be heard. It would be great if we could get some mtn bikers from the Grand Rapids area to attend your local meeting. People who have attended some of the metro meetings so far have said they have been interesting meetings and productive. Here are the details:

Grand Rapids MN Interagency Fire Center 402 SE 11th Street Training Room (upstairs) Thursday, May 27th 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Spread the word up there!

Are there specific elements which seem to be received well?

Nothing specific, they just want to hear from all users. If mtn bikers show up, we're part of the discussion. They know we exist, which is important.
