View Full Version : Bridge transport, Wednesday 6pm

Wednesday, August 12. 6 pm.

We need your help moving Theo's first legal bridge into place.

We'll be meeting at the north end entry point a little before six pm to unload the bridge and carry it about 1/10th mile to where it will be installed at a later session. The bridge itself isn't overly heavy, but it is awkward. Many hands would really help.

Please post up if you can make it.

This could be the quickest and easiest trailwork you'll ever do.

Easiest. trailwork. ever.

We'd love to have fifteen minutes of your time before, during, or after your ride. Remember, we aren't installing or doing any kind of work other than carrying a bridge from point a to point b.

:D Why does this bring back bad memories of rock moving....

I would show and help, but I have to run back across town after work and coming all the way back.. well.. I just really do not feel like putting 100 miles on the car... or my legs...

No, this one really should be easy.

We will be doing rock moving later this month which will be significantly not easy but should help make an awesome section of trail!

We certainly do. The bridge moving will be finished in plenty of time to bike up to KCC for the MOCA meeting at seven. Everyone, bridge mover or not, is welcome to stop by and check it out. We'd love to see you there.

Yes, the north entrance is at the back of the hospital lot.

See y'all a little before six at the north end in the hospital parking lot!

Theo Wirth Parkway north past the par three and the main chalet to the stop sign at Golden Valley Road. Left on GV to the stop light at Hidden Lakes Parkway. Follow this road around curves and over speed bumps up the hill to the hospital parking lot. We'll be in the back (southeast) corner of the lot.
