I can usually clear it with suspension and gears, but tonight was the first time on my rigid singlespeed. I almost fell over I was so surprised.
It's been a pretty awful week with my company going out of business and all, so I am sucking all the fun out this I can.
So…yay for me!

It's a beastly rock garden for sure.

That's funny, cause I made it for the first time in a few years Tue. night...I can understand your joyfulness over this accomplishment.:banana::banana:

Nice!!! It's a good feeling. I only cleared it about 2-3 times in the past, then I didn't go to Theo at all last year and rode Theo for the 1st time since 2 years ago last week and cleared it all 3 times!!! Needless to say I was pretty pumped!
Those rocks definitely eat rigid bikes for breakfast. I barely know it's there with the FS 29er. I had the rigid out there last night, barely cleaned it the first time, and the second time I was catapulted and almost smoked the tree!

Some FS 29ers don't even come small enough for me.
Not that I can afford one.

I'm too short for 29ers as well. I have a Raleigh XXIX that I can mostly stand over comfortably, but it is still a bit too much bike for me to throw around in technical sections. I can, however, start from a dead stop at the bottom of the uphill rock armor and clean it without huge effort.
Craig, if you'd like to try a 16" 29er in your newly found free time, let me know. They're kinda fun.

Funny, I've only began to clear it when I started riding the rigid with a 29er up front:D Diluted kool aid?

Thanks Mara my rigid is actually a 29er and is 16". I rode past you last night, thanks for fixing the log thingy. I can stand over a 17" bike, but 18" gets dicey.
My problem is I have a short torso so many bikes that would be my size have a top tube that is too long for me. I was looking at a couple FS 29ers and some only went down to medium, I like the way may a small (16") fits.

Chuck did most of the log pile fixing - I just finished up and tried to maximize my speedbump potential for riders.
I need to grow -- if I were even a little taller, the 29er would be exponentially more fun.
