Meet in the Par 3 lot. We have a lot to do and it's all a bunch of random stuff.

Bring long pants, good trailwork shoes, bug spray, water, and an awesome attitude....:)

We do send out (more) timely emails to those who have opted in to our trailwork email list. The timing of the postings on the forums is often proportional to our need for bodies. On big project days, we try to get the word out early and often. On days like today where we will be running amok tackling smaller projects, the need is still there but less urgent.

For Paul's calendar: In three Wednesdays, excluding today, we will be doing some major rock work. Please join us! ;)

To clarify, that would be every Wednesday unless otherwise stated, excluding the second Wednesday of the month when we have our ever fascinating MOCA meeting at KCC.

To break that rule ('cause I'm a rebel like that) we will be asking for volunteers next Wednesday to help us carry a bridge from the north end entry to its future home.

Could these things be put on the calendar (/points at linky in the header)?

Seems like using the tool would be a good idea rather than guessing if there will be work this week or not (I cannot make it most weeks). I've had two different conversations this year at least about people not knowing when trailwork is, or that there even was trailwork at Theo on a weekly basis.

Done for the next few weeks. I didn't put in next week since we will be making a special request in the forums for people to come help us move the bridge before the MOCA board meeting.

I know a number of folks that do not check the forums but inquired about trailwork; doing things forums-only is missing people.

Sorry, I was just thinking about the new people, or not knowing current people, that all of a sudden decide to do trail wrok, adn don't know every trail's work session. I agree with Neil, having it on the calendar would be a good thing.

for me, knowing day of is too late, as I have to leave work early, or go from work.

thanks for crying. and leave my pants alone!
